Sheldon Dunes Homeowners Association
The Sheldon Dunes Homeowners Association is a voluntary coalition of property owners incorporated in 1987 to maintain, on behalf of the Sheldon Dunes subdivision, shared entrances and lake access points along the Lake Michigan shoreline in West Olive, Michigan, fostering a spirit of community within that neighborhood.

Annual Member Meeting - 7 pm, 3rd Monday in September.
Held at Port Sheldon Township Hall. All residents are encouraged to attend. Only dues-paying association members may vote, determined at check-in time. An agenda and previous year's annual meeting minutes are emailed to owners ahead of time. Light refreshments are served.
Monthly Board Meetings - 1st Thursday, March thru December.
Elected board members meet at their respective homes. Any property owner is welcome to attend.
Annual Membership Dues - pay by April 15.
The amount of dues are determined by the Board of Directors each year, based on needs for maintaining entrances, lake accesses, liability insurance, association communications, etc. The Board will notify Sheldon Dunes residents of the amount. See a record of past projects and expenditures here.
Annual Clean Up Day - 1st Saturday in June.
Helpers meet at the center lake access, tools in hand, to divide up work. Entrance and lake access areas are cleaned of debris, mulched and repaired, along with other similar work determined ahead and managed by the Board. Light refreshments are usually provided to workers volunteers.
Annual Block Party - 3rd Saturday in July, 4th Saturday rain date.
A picnic in which neighbors have a chance to meet. Some portion of the food is usually provided by the Association, so it's important to RSVP the SDHAsecretary@gmail.com for your family, if you plan to attend. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service and beverages. Try to bring your own chairs and even a table if possible. There usually is music and a variety of games to play.
